Today is a Bittersweet Anniversary

Happy Spring Reader,

As promised, I have a follow up from my last Museletter, "What Mexico Taught Me”, coming to you within the week, but first, I wanted to acknowledge this bittersweet day.

Today is my mother's 5th year deathiversary. It also marks a year since I launched my new website, this gently distributed Museletter and the ebook, "An Open Letter to Western Women". My mother inspired it. It’s a heartfelt message for all women on the critical importance of modern day self-care.

I invite you to help me honour her spirit, and this sacred day, in a few ways.

1) Giveaway. Mum was a giver so I’m inspired to gift five ebooks. For a chance to win a copy, send me a picture or video of you enjoying one of mum's simple pleasures: a hug, dancing or eating dessert. Because, how fun!?!

2) Book review. For those of you who already have the ebook and were touched by it, it would really mean a lot to receive a testimonial I can use on my website.

And, if you'd just like to purchase the ebook because you can't be fussed to take the above steps, please be my guest.

Then, do something nice for yourself. I personally have returned to the Bowen Island retreat centre where I recently celebrated my 50th birthday. I came with 15 friends in November but this time it’s just me, Mama Maria and Mother Nature.

With the sun auspiciously out today, I’ll be chasing a sunset shortly to wish her goodnight. It was the last thing she saw before transitioning.

Thank you for witnessing and helping me mark this special day.

PS If you are new here, welcome. If you enjoy these love notes, be sure to whitelist my email so I don't get trashed. ❤
