A lil ‘bout this gal
Like you, Damiani couldn’t pronounce her name as a child and avoided it altogether until the age of 23. English was among her weakest subjects in high school so she went on to Major in it in university. Before turning 30, Damiani retired from secondary school teaching and bought a one-way ticket to India in pursuit of her doppelgänger. Apparently she has one in every country. While living in Thailand she was accidentally nicknamed, “Yummy”. It stuck for a while, occasionally making a reappearance.
Over the next 20 years Damiani embarked on a career as a Modern Day Renaissance Woman working in advertising, business administration, modeling, acting and finance, but the gig she’s proudest of to date is midwifing her best friend’s daughter. Parallelled by the sacred initiation of doulaing the death of that same bestie within months of her beloved mother.
Damiani speaks four languages and good spelling makes her swoon. Often dancing in the Mystery, she’s a Seeker with superpowers for finding the silver lining in any situation. But only after feeling all the feels first. Influenced by the wisdom teachings of many, Damiani admits to being a recovering workshop junkie. A devotee of all things fun with a regular practice in laughter, she loves to dress in costume, gives the best belly hugs and hates chocolate mousse.
Always sharing her light and inspiring others with her emotional courage, today Damiani can be found exploring the in-between and evolving into the next iteration of herself.
